Hidden in between two hills, Cournon is a charming village. Small but lively, it is still in possesion of its primary school.

Taking the waymarked paths, one can discover traces of a Roman road which separates Cournon from Sixt sur Aff and the "Dolmen des Tablettes", which being of Anjou style is quite a rare structure in Brittany.

To be seen in the public gardens is the hydraulic seesaw with a Breton couple dressed in traditional clothing constantly working a fountain. In autumn, they change out of their festive clothes into typical yellow anoraks to face the coming weather.
